Killer Kern 08

So far the Kern has taken 242 lives. I can definitely see why too. Tons of drunk Mexicans, lots of kids and a Mexican wetsuit at every turn. But we managed to get away this weekend with just a few cuts and scraps- and maybe a chipped elbow. Ouch. We climbed rocks, jumped off giant rock jumps, slid down several sweet natural rock slides, pooped in the woods, got down and dirty in our tent, bbq'ed it up, ate some delicious Lanie cookies, went tubing, drank $2 beers at an awesome, dirty dive bar where we saw one of the many "Bachelors," watched a down home, on-the-lake 4th of July fireworks show, lounged in the river and mingled it up with some of the Kernville locals. Needless to say, it was freakin' awesome. Take a look.
